There is no greater joy than teaching.
I firmly believe that one of the most important roles of an academician is that of teaching. As such, I am committed to providing the best learning experience I can for all individuals I encounter in a teaching or mentoring environment.
Currently, I have taught two semesters of zoology 316: Conservation of Aquatic Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This lab based course seeks to integrate fundamental principles of limnology with hands on field work and data analysis. In addition to continuing to teach this course in up coming years, I will also be participating in the UW-Madison DELTA program. The DELTA program is designed to create scientists that are both effective researchers and strong educators.
